My heartfelt condolences to the entire Jakoplic family and all of Joe's friends. Joe was one of the nicest, most-giving people I've ever known. If anyone needed anything, Joe was there to help out. His U of M tailgate parties have been memorable for the 40+ years I've known him. And I'll never forget his Halloween party at a farm in 1983 when my car started on fire and went up in flames. Joe ran back to the barn and brought me an armful of beers to comfort my pain. Everyone who knew Joe is going to miss him - RIP Joe!!!

One of my all time favorite people. We spent many a night at the Post Detroit. He was an Icon for the establishment and will be remembered and missed by many.

Joe was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Always welcomed you with a drink or something to eat. And the numerous times he hosted us at Michigan Football Tailgates will never be forgotten. He was a Michigan Man. Go Blue!!
