Obituary of Ken Anderson
ANDERSON, Kenneth Edgar
May 23, 1944 - April 2, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Kenneth Edgar on April 2, 2022, at Ouellette Campus of Windsor Regional Hospital at the age of 77. Ken was the son of Claude (2005) and Helen (1993) Anderson and son-in-law to the late Dorothy Anderson (2007). Beloved husband and best friend of Jean Anderson. Loving father of Steve Anderson of Toronto, Kim Fanella (Luigi) of Windsor, the late Marylynn (1977), Greg Anderson (Rita) of LaSalle, Nicholas (Courtney) Jovanovic of Tecumseh and Christopher (Geneviève) Jovanovic of Windsor. Dear brother of Caroline (Richard 2020) Neveu of Belle River and Ronald (Patricia) Anderson of Dundas and brother-in-law of the late Judy McLean (1997), Gary (Diane) McLean, David (Doreen 2021) Anderson and Jackie (Ray) Pinard. Much loved, fun Grampa to seven beautiful grandchildren, Kate Anderson of Toronto, Emily and Julia Fanella of Windsor, Gianluigi Anderson of LaSalle and Owen, Noah and Cooper Jovanovic of Tecumseh. Ken will also be sadly missed by Valerie Fitzpatrick of Thornhill. Also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Ken was retired after 37 years of service at the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board where he worked as a Supervisor in the Facilities Department. Ken will always be remembered as a kind, loving, gentle man with a huge heart and a great sense of humour. Ken loved life, people and especially his family! He had a competitive nature when it came to playing his Nintendo games and whether it was a kid or an adult they were going down. He loved our Euchre tournaments! Ken loved cars especially the high performance ones and spent hours watching Barrett Jackson auctions. He was so happy when he owned his red Charger SRT. On behalf of our family, a special thank you to all of Ken’s care team at the Windsor Regional Hospital Emergency Departments, the CCU and the wonderful staff on 4th floor at Ouellette Campus.
