Obituary of Harold Hilts

HILTS, Harold<br/>Passed away peacefully on January 23, 2021 at the age of 81. Reunited with his beloved wife Gloria (nee: Wellbrock) (1975). Loving and devoted father to Karen Hilts and husband Earl Hooey, and Jeffrey Hilts and wife Heather. Cherished papa to Jay and wife Renee Hilts; Kayleena Gil (Arturo Tosky); Kara-Jade Hilts; Ryan Hooey and Maddy Hooey; and also survived by 8 great grandchildren. Dear brother to Adam Hilts, and late sister Mary-Lou O'Brien. Predeceased by parents Ivan and Mary Agnes Hilts. Dear friend to Viney Bondy and Nancy Bondy. Harold is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a retired employee of Chrysler Canada and a proud member of UNIFOR, Local 444. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Villages at St. Clair, Gosfield and Colchester neighbourhoods, for their compassionate care provided to Harold over the years. At Harold's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Harold will be interred at a later date in Collingwood. Ontario.
