Obituary of Vincenzo Pizzuti

PIZZUTI, Vincenzo "Vince"

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Vince, a loving Husband, Father and Grandpa, on March 12, 2022 at the age of 75. Beloved husband and best friend to late Nancy Pizzuti (nee Wruble) (2022), with whom he celebrated 54 years of blessed marriage. Loving and devoted father to Sandra Cook and husband Jamie of Oakville, Anna Pizzuti-Mijovcic and husband Bob of Tecumseh. Cherished and proud grandpa to Bianca, Carson, Adrianna and Abigail. Predeceased by parents Tommaso and Alessandra Pizzuti and in-laws, Stanley and Evelyn Wruble.. Dear brother to late John Pizzuti and surviving wife Tina, Mike Pizzuti and wife Bianca, Tony Pizzuti and wife Maria, late Teresa Paossi; all of Windsor, and Delia Paossi and husband Arcangelo of Italy. Dear brother in-law to Eric Wruble (late Lupe), Carol Rogers (late Don) and the late Lavern and Richard Wruble. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Vince emigrated to Canada in 1963 from Ceccano, Frosinone, Italy. He met the love of his life, Nancy, and they married in 1967 and had two daughters, Anna and Sandra. Vince was very proud to call himself a Canadian Citizen and enjoy the many privileges and opportunities that this beautiful country offered to him and his family. Vince retired from Chrysler Canada after many years of dedicated service and he was a member of CAW Local 444. He loved spending time with his family and friends near and afar, gardening in his backyard, travelling in the southern states with friends and spending countless hours doing auto body work with his brother and partner Tony Pizzuti. A heartfelt thank you to our neighbours in Woodview Estates in Essex for their continuous and generous support provided to our family throughout the years. A sincere thank you to the staff at Erie Shores Hospice. Leamington for their compassionate care provided to Vince and his family during this difficult time. Friends will be received at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Parish prayers Sunday at 4:30pm.
