Obituary of Aurora Castano

CASTANO, Aurora

January 6, 1931 -February 22, 2022

Passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022 at the age of 91.

Predeceased by her loving husband Manuel (2021) with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

Aurora will be sadly missed by her good friends Carol and Ron Renaud, Kim and Mike Schaefer, Ron Renaud Jr., and Amparo Ramirez.

She was a long time resident at Solidarity Tower on Riverside Drive.

Aurora enjoyed her Sunday trips to “The Farm”.

A special thank you to the nurses on 4-North at Met Hospital for their care and compassion.

As per Aurora’s wishes, cremation has taken place and an interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations in memory of Aurora can be made to the Windsor-Essex Humane Society .
