Obituary of Mike Miceli

January 14, 1946-December 4, 2021

Met his creator peacefully on Saturday December 4, 2021. Loving and devoted husband of Anna (nee Caly) for 52 years. Cherished father of his daughters, his “Four Shining Stars” - Jennifer (Rick), Maria (Ivano), Cristina (William) and Daniela (Dave).  Caro Nonno of Jacob, Dante, Selena,Faith, Aiden, Michael, Logan and Emma.  Pre-deceased by his loving parents Alfredo and Genoveffa Miceli and baby brothers Michele and Paul.  Dear brother of Paul Miceli and late sister Julie Miceli-Conteddu.  Dear zio of Paula, Alfredo and Candice Miceli and Marisa Conteddu.  Dear son in law of the late Maria and Girolamo Caly.  Dear brother in law of Carmela, Lucia, Rita, Maria Pia and Giuseppe and families.  He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada, USA and Italy. He will be missed by Cynthia Maroon who was like a daughter to him. Mike was born in Borgo Partenope Cosenza Italy and came to Canada at the young age of 12.  Mike was a self employed entrepreneur owning several businesses in Windsor.  Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL ( Central) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Please note: there is no visitation at the funeral home before the mass. Everyone registered to attend can go directly to church. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 and 11:00 a.m. at St. Angela Merici Church followed by burial at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.  Masks are required to attend visitation, funeral mass and cemetery services.  Reservations are required to attend the funeral mass.  Please call funeral home between the hours of 8:30 and 4:00 p.m. to secure your reservations for the mass.  Donations in memory of Mike may be made to Windsor Essex Food Bank Association.
