Obituary of Dr. Allan Kupsov

Dr. Allan Howard Kupsov, D.D.S.
Allan passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 9, 2021, at the age of 81. He was born October 2, 1940 and raised in the Toronto area. He earned his degree in Dentistry at the University of Toronto. Allan went on to setting up practice in Windsor, where he loved every minute of every day leading up to his retirement. In 1971, he was appointed President of the Essex County Dental Society. He was an avid downhill skier and had great memories in Aspen, Colorado. Later, he became a lover of boating and was able to enjoy it well into 70's.
He is predeceased by his parents Jack and Faye and his sister Marlene Bernard. He is survived by his loving wife Anne (nee Larsh) of 32 ½ years. Beloved father of Steven (Kathy), Michael (Beth), and Bryan. Cherished grandfather of Jaron, Hannah, Jordan, and Sydney. Dear father-in-law to Julie (Nick). Brother in-law of John (Nancy), and Paul (Ursula). Uncle of Matthew, Paul, James, Norah (Byron), Sara (Wayne), and Katie (Brad), and great uncle to Leo, Cameron, Faye and Liam.
He will be dearly missed by many cherished friends including Shannon and Don Kennedy, Carole and Tim Lanoue, Connie and Keith Dupuis, Linda and John VanDenNess, the late Paul Goodman and survived by his wife Jane, and Connie and Peter Filice. As well, he really enjoyed his former dental classmates that he would meet up with on Zoom.
A special thanks to Dr. Dale and Cheryl Ziter for their kindness and support and to Dr. El Sherif for his care and compassion shown to Allan.
A private service has already taken place.  Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation that will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Ave. 519.253.7234 on Saturday, November 13, from 1-4pm.  Masks are required at the funeral home.  No reservations are required for the memorial visitation.
