Obituary of Bogomil Stark

STARK, Bogomil

May 6, 1933 - October 23, 2021

Our beloved father and grandfather passed away peacefully at Extendicare- Tecumseh to be reunited with his wife, Zlata, of over 63 years, who predeceased him last September. Their daughters, Josephine (Jozica) Stark Scarphone (David) and Anne Zagar (Mario) will deeply miss their wonderful father. His four grandchildren Sara Anne Stark Scarfone, Connor Robert, Ian Louis, and Ryan Alexander Zagar will miss their grandfather. Our father came to Canada from Slovenija (at the time Yugoslavia) in 1954, settling in Windsor where he met the love of his life, Zlata. Our father always worked hard to provide for his family, who were always his first priority. Bogomil love to work with his hands and was always ready to tackle any project, from carpentry to plumbing to electrical work. He enjoyed building and creating things and had a sharp intellect, with a ready wit and smile. He took great pleasure in spending time with his family and friends. You could always count on Daddy to fix whatever needed fixing. He will be deeply missed, but we know he is at peace. May God bless both of our wonderful and loving parents. A very special thank-you to all the staff at Extendicare-Tecumseh, Oldcastle for the excellent care they took of our father for over 5 years. In addition, a very special thank you to the staff at Home Instead who would take our dad “out for a spin!” We love you daddy! Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road East 519-253-7234, on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 3-7pm. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Anne's Parish on Friday, Oct 29, at 10:30 a.m. followed by entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Reservations are required to attend the funeral mass.
