Dorothy Stratichuk ( Nee Gavrelets)

January 29, 1930 - October 22, 2021

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on October 21st, 2021 at the age of 91. Reunited with her loving husband Nick Stratichuk (2010), whom she shared 64 years of marriage with. Loving mother to Kip ( Suzanne) and Debbie (John 2020). Daughter to late Mike and Helen Gavrelets. Proud Baba to Tim, Jeff (Anne), Samantha, Sherry,  step grandson Gord Robinson and Fur Babies Ben and Murphy. Loving Grandbaba to Kyle, Ryan, Amanda, Karter, Kolin, Klint and Kassie (2009). Loving Sister to Mary Rubli (Late Morris 2012). Godmother to Curtis Stratichuk, Peter Kosyk and John Maleschuk. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, and Cousins. Dorothy was a long time member of St.Vladimirs Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral and the Ladies Club Lesia Ukrainka Branch. A special thanks to Mom's PSW Janet for all her care and compassion. Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. 519-253-7234. On Wednesday October 27th 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Prayers to take place at 7:30pm. Private service will be held on Thursday October 28th, 2021 in the Chapel. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
