Obituary of Sotera Diamantis

DIAMANTIS, Sotera (nee Christodoulou) July 2, 1938 – January 10, 2021 Devoted wife and loving mother passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the age of 82 due to complications from cancer. She leaves behind her husband of 45 years Mr Diamantis Diamantis, son Sotirios and daughter Anamaria. Sotera was born on July 2nd, 1938, in Kontemenos, Kyrenia, Cyprus to Maria Kosti Seftali and Christodoulos Yianni Pieri. She immigrated to Windsor, Ontario, Canada on July 25th of 1975 where she and Mr Diamantis married on July 30th, 1975. Sotera loved Canada and its people and felt very fortunate to have been welcomed here. Sotera enjoyed making a home and raising her children. She loved God, her friends and family, and was also an avid gardener of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Sotera will be warmly remembered by her family and friends for her caring and generous nature. She will be missed. Private funeral service to be held at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, Tuesday, January 12th, 2021. Sotera will be buried at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
