SAMANC, Persa (nee Srbu) It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Persa, a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt, on August 15, 2021 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Nikola Samanc with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage. Loving and devoted mother to Veronik Samanc (Jillian) of Windsor, Veronica Miklja (Paul) of Sterling Heights, MI. Cherished grandmother "Bunica" to Brandon Miklja, Zachary Miklja and Robin Samanc. Dear sister to Milan Srbu and adored aunt to Rodica Srbu and family; all of Alibunar, Serbia. Dear aunt to Dragan (Nela) Pavlovic and family of Windsor. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Prayers Friday at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St. George's Romanian Orthodox Cathedral (1960 Tecumseh Rd. E.) from 9:00am until time of Funeral Service at 9:30am. Very Rev. Dragos Giulea officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. PLEASE NOTE: Reservations are required to attend the Funeral Service at the Church and the Cemetery Service.
