Obituary of Allan Lionel Hughes

HUGHES, Allan, Passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2021 at the age of 46. Loving son of Rebecca Gionet (Pete) and Al Hughes (Tammy). Loving and devoted father of Alicia Hughes (Conrad) and AJ Hughes. Cherished grandfather of Sophia, Caden, Colson and Averie. Dear brother of James Hughes (Cheryl) and Dean Hughes (Johanne). Allan is survived by his nieces and nephews; Jamie (2016), Samantha, Jayson, Deanna, Jacob, and Joseph. Allan is also survived by dear friend and mother to his children, Sherry Renaud. He has been reunited with his beloved Mimi, their special bond was an integral part of his life.  He is also survived by a many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. A very special thank you to Aunt Arlene Marier, for being a constant support, and lending an ear whenever Allan needed it.   Allan was a longtime employee with FCA, most recently completing 25 years of dedicated service. He was a union rep and as of recently a Team Leader. He was a passionate bass player playing in many local bands, most recently Chainz. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road East, 519-253-7234 on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. A private family service will be held in the chapel on Friday, August 20, 2021. Cremation to follow. Reservations are not required to attend the visitation. Masks or personal face coverings must be worn while in the funeral home.
