Obituary of Luigi Mazzei

MAZZEI, Luigi February 2, 1927-January 7, 2021 It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Luigi Mazzei on January 7, 2021, at the age of 93, with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Maria (nee Marra, 2010). Dedicated and caring father to Pasquale (Pat) and wife Susan, Teresa and husband Carlo Iandolo, and Biagio (Bill). Devoted and cherished Nonno to Louis and Megan Mazzei. He will be missed by his furry companion and best buddy Jack. Predeceased by parents Pasquale and Teresa Mazzei and in-laws Biagio and Teresa Marra. Dear brother to the late Rosa and Luigi Pignanelli, the late Marietta and Giuseppe Iaquinta, the late Giovanna and Giuseppe Longo, the late Francesco and Marietta Mazzei, Giuseppina and late Guido Villella, and the late Carmela and Franco Audia. Dear brother in-law to the late Saverina and Antonio Piccolo, Antonietta Marra and Pasquale and wife Delia Marra. Special uncle to many loving and caring nieces and nephews in Windsor and Italy. Luigi was a retiree of Chrysler. He enjoyed and had a passion for gardening and loved getting together to share laughs and memories with family and friends. But most of all he cherished time with his two grandchildren who meant the world to him. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A private family Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, January 13, with entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest.
