GEIGER, BARBARA (nee Kornacker)

Peacefully joined her loving husband of 56 years, Nicholas (2003) on July 13, 2021 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Anna Kornacker. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother to 5 sons. Robert (Karen) of Florida, Don (Mary) of Prescott, Jim (Lisa 2016) of Calgary, Gerry (Michelle) of Belle River and Michael (Pauline) of Barrie. Dear grandmother to Christopher (Amanda), Alyssa (Rob), Steven (Lisa), Sarah (Andrew), David, Nicholas (Madison), Lindsay and Katie. Barbara will be missed by her 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Dear friend and companion of the late John Zangari (2020). Barbara served as a dedicated volunteer at Glengarda for many years and was an active member of the Parish of the Atonement where she was a member of the ladies auxiliary. A special thank you to the staff at Metropolitan hospital and Hospice Windsor for their caring support. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Windsor would be appreciated. A private family service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. If you wish to watch the service live, please click the below link.
