Obituary of Eh Say

My mother’s name is Naw Eh Say. She was born on August 28, 1959 in Keh-Pa village, Burma (Myanmar). She had three sisters and two brothers. Some of her siblings are now living in Canada and the rest are in Norway and Burma. My mother married my father, Tha Rae Htoo, in 1988 and she had six children in total, five sons and one daughter and 9 grandchildren. My family fled to Thailand in 1994 where we spent over 13 years as refugees and later resettled to Canada on August 5, 2009 without having any basic knowledge about Canada and English language. it was quite a challenge for my family to start our new life here all over again. My mother was generous and a quiet person; she loved her children and cared for those around her. She lost one son and a grandson when she was still alive. God called her back on July 3, 2021.
