Obituary of Joseph Podolinsky

February 12, 1946 - July 5, 2021

Joe passed away July 5, 2021 in his 75th year. Reunited with his first wife Janis and survived by his spouse Betty whom he loved very much. Loving Father to Steven (Brit) and Christopher (Erin). “Grandpa Joe” to Dane, Noah, Reed, Jonah and Willem. Friend to Rene Jacques, who provided companionship to Joe for many years. Joe enjoyed a friendly bet, trips to the racetrack and the odd slice of pie. He spent his years of work as a driver for Coca- Cola, and later a co-owner of Riverside Video. Joe loved movies, especially those not on the Oscar list. The family wishes to thank the staff and friends at both Cardinal Place and Huron Terrace . We would like to thank the Doctor’s and Nurses of the 5th floor of Windsor Regional Ouellette Campus for their care and compassion shown to Joe.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.

Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Road East, 519-253-7234 on Friday July 9, 2021 from 12:00pm until time of service at 1:00pm.
