LIOLLI, Angelo

November 13, 1941 - June 19, 2021

Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on June 19, 2021 at the age of 79. Loving husband for 54 years to Giovanna (nee Liburdi). Cherished father of Americo (Kelly), Anthony (Maria), Annamaria Easby (Todd). Adored nonno of Austin, Natalie, Madison, Nathan, Sabrina and Eric. Predeceased by his parents Leonello and Domenica and siblings Paolo (Giovanna), Vincenza De Biase (Alberto), Americo, Giulio, Luciano, and Luigi (Angelina).  Survived by siblings Leonardo (Giovanna) in Windsor, Leandro (Giselle) in Germany, Pietro (Augusta) and Paola Mezzoni (late Luigi) in Italy, and sister-in-law Krista in Germany. Son- in-law of the late Paolo and Francesca Liburdi. Brother- in- law of the late Giuseppe (Margherita), late Vincenzo (Vincenza), late Michele (late Rosanna), late Benedetto (Filomena), Francesco (Antonietta), late Mario (Michelina) and Tommaso (late Bonnie). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Born In Ceccano, Frosinone, Italy, he immigrated to Canada in 1965 where he met the love of his life, Giovanna. He worked for over 35 years at Chrysler Canada and was a member of Unifor Local 444.  He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Special thank you to nurse Adriana, Hospice of Windsor, and the Windsor Cancer Centre. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East., (519)253-7234 on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 2:00PM - 5:00PM and 7:00PM - 9:00PM. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 9:30am at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave, Windsor) . Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Reservations and masks are required to attend the Visitation, Funeral Mass and Cemetery. Please call Windsor Chapel between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:00PM to secure a reservation. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made out to the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation (2220 Kildare Rd, Windsor, ON N8W 1L9) or Hospice of Windsor & Essex County (6038 Empress St, Windsor, ON N8T 1B5).
