Obituary of Stella Lewchuk

LEWCHUK, Stella (nee Roczan) 

Passed peacefully at Seasons Amherstburg Monday, May 10, 2021 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband Walter Lewchuk (2015). Survived by daughter Stephanie (Lee) Dawson and sons Wayne (Dale) and Michael. Proud grandmother of Jennifer (Ken), Stephanie (Eddie), Melissa (Tom), Danielle (Ryan), Stephen (Tim), Nikita, Dylan, Amanda (John), Janine (Don) and Matthew (Jassica) and great-grandmother of Jacob, Joshua, Payton, Olivia, Jamie, Sabrina, Joe, Domenic and Landon. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.  

A long-time Scout leader, volunteer at Windsor Regional Hospital and employee of Dominion Stores. Happiest when surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Famous for her pierogies, cabbage rolls and spaghetti sauce – a skill she has passed on to the next generations.

Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 4 – 8pm. Reservations are required for the visitation, please call Windsor Chapel Funeral Home between 8:30am and 4pm to book your time. Masks are required at the Funeral Home. A private service will be held with immediate family on Saturday, May 15, 2021 with cremation to follow. A private family internment will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Windsor Regional Hospital - Metropolitan Campus.
