June 8, 1953 - April 18, 2021

It is with saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Brad at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by parents Ray and Irene. Cherished husband to Wendy. Beloved father of Corey (Tammy). Immensely proud Papa to Nate, Chloe, Hayden and Hallie. Son-in-law to John and Catherine Abbey. Brother-in-law to Jon Abbey (Sue), Ed Abbey (Ron Stipp). Nephew to Shirley Wynn and Dorothy Dalgleish. Loving uncle to Nicholas, Josh and Naomi. He will be missed by cousins Tracey, Chris, Nancy, Tom, and David and very special cousins who shared his dark days John and Judy Velinga and Paula and Al Hodgson. He will also be missed by his friends Kevin Rathwell, Pamela Pyke and Elizabeth Craig. Special thanks to Karen Bray from St. Elizabeth, Dr. Sherry Bergeron, the staff of MET E.R., Dr. Boyer, Dr. McFarlane, Dr. Kennette, 4W Oncology MET, Dr. Pat Smith, Dr. Anees, Dr. Hirmiz, and staff of Hunter Pharmacy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Brad to Community Living Essex County. Cremation to take place with a Memorial Service to follow when the pandemic restrictions allow for the service that he deserves.
