Obituary of Bernard Joseph Steer

Passed away April 7, 2021 at 90 years of age in Windsor, Ontario. Predeceased by his dear wife Ruby (Nee Allen) in 1997. Father of Debra Simms (Lorne) of Woodslee, Linda Arnold (James) of Georgetown and Michael (Alison) of LaSalle. Grandfather to Melissa, Danielle (Curtis) and Christopher (Tracy). Great grandfather to Miles, Isla and Mara. Survived by siblings Robert Steer and Jannette Wilson (late Albert), brother-in-law Leo Gallant (late Peggy) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents John H. and Mary Jannette (Nee Brazill), siblings Margaret McLaughlin (Frank), John G. (Marie), and Catharine Pouget (Stan). Best friend and companion of Norma Deans (2020) of Flagler Beach Florida with whom he enjoyed many winters in Florida. Bernie retired from Chrysler in 1986.
