Obituary of Rosina Prestia

PRESTIA, Rosina (nee Garardo)<br/>It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Rosina, a beloved Wife, Mother and Nonna, on December 29, 2020 at the age of 78.<br/>Beloved wife of Orlando Prestia. Loving and devoted mother to Laura Prestia (Nick) and Rosa Ventura (Antonio). Cherished Nonna to Alessia and Milo. Dear sister to Lucia Commisso (Giuseppe), Antonio Garardo, Gaetano Garardo (Nunziata) and Elio Garardo (Fernanda); both of Italy, and the late Maria Nicoletti (late Angelo). Predeceased by parents, Giovanni and Tomassina Garardo. Rosina is survived by many nieces, nephews and many family members in Italy. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253.7234 on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Private funeral service on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 11 am in the Chapel. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Masks are required at the funeral home, funeral service and cemetery. Reservations are required to attend the visitation.
