Obituary of Steven Ponic

PONIC, Steven Passed away peacefully on December 9, 2019. Loving husband of the late Mary (Nee Kubani)(2006) Brother of George (late Dorothy) and William (late Doris)Ponic. Predeceased by one sister Emily. Proud uncle of Mary Ann Rae (Allan), Victor Demko (Marlene), Linda Helou (Bassam)Jim Ponic (Annette), late George Ponic Jr. (2000) survived by wife Lucille, Margaret Levesque (Frank), Jan Lapointe (Serge), and Laurie Lacoursiere (Bob). Sadly missed by many great nieces and nephews. Steven graduated from Assumption College and served in the Army WWII. He retired from Ford Motor Company after many years of service. Steven loved music and favorite phrase “dancing with the ladies.” He will be remembered for his kind heart and sense of humor. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 10:00a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel followed by entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
