Obituary of Giuseppe 'Joe' Novielli

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Joe’s peaceful passing, surrounded by his family on November 19, 2019 at the age of 79. He will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 51 years; Christine, his cherished children John, Cynthia (Alen) and Michael. Son of the late Giovanni and Vincenza Novielli, brother of the late Angela Cappelli and is survived by his siblings Anna (Vito) Desimini, Vincenzo Novielli, Sister Viviana Novielli and his brothers in law Frank Cappelli and Patrick Zembski as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. On most days Joe could be found tending to his beloved vegetable garden. Joe retired after many years from GM Transmission in 2003. A special thank you to everyone at The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County who cared for him during his final days. Family and friends are invited to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 for visitation on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm with parish prayers at 4:30pm. His Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from the funeral home at 9:40am to Our Lady of the Atonement for Mass at 10am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
