Obituary of Richard Dennis Taylor

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Richard, on December 27, 2020, at the age of 72. Loving husband and best friend of 51 years to Mary (nee Roath). Devoted father of Vicki Mahler and husband Scott and Paul Taylor and wife Jennifer. Cherished grandfather (papa) of Jordan, Hailee, Aidan, Sela and Breaya. Son of the late Charles and Della (nee McRitchie) Taylor. Loving brother of the late Helen (Harold) Chevalier, late Gary (late Carol), Carol (late Bill) Carroll, late Janice Tarrant, Lynne (Joe) Mousseau, Kevin (Carol) and Mark (Lisa). Beloved brother-in-law of Donna (late Blaine) Tyndall, late Gary (Mary) Roath, Sandy (late John) Wilkins and late Wayne Roath. Dick will also be missed by his lifelong best friend Tom Cohoe and wife Elaine. Also, his Tuite sisters. Dick’s biggest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family, particularly his 5 grandkids. Nature was his passion. A special thank you to the staff at Extendicare and Home Instead for taking such good care of him and loving him. A private service was held for immediate family, and cremation has taken place.
