Obituary of Pauline Emily King

Passed away peacefully with family by her side. Daughter of the late Adolph (Erie Street Barber) and Anna Stellman. Beloved Wife of Dr. Edward George King. Mother of Dr. Bethany Mattiuz-King (Dr. Christopher Mattiuz), and Jylene King. Devoted Grandmother of Kinyara Emily King. She was a high school teacher in both Windsor School Boards before she retired in 1996. A strong force in the community with a passion for volunteering. R.S.V.P, Windsor Ambassadors, Eucharistic Minister and Member of Ladies Hospital Auxiliary, and usher at the Cleary, Capital and Fox Theatres. Received recognition by the Rotary Club and Government of Ontario for Outstanding Volunteering Services. Was named with her husband as Volunteer Family of the Year by the United Way. Recently celebrating 58 years of marriage. Her passion for world travel made us realize you should travel as much as you can, for as long as you can, because life is not meant to be lived in one place. May her journey continue. Memorial Visiting will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL Funeral Home 3048 Dougall Ave. (South Location) 519.253.7234. on September 25th, 2019 from 2-5pm & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will take place Thursday September 26th at Our Lady of Assumption Parish at 10am, interment to follow. Cremation has already taken place.
