Obituary of Levi Steele Jr.

It is with deep regret to announce the passing of Levi Steele Jr. on September 19, 2019 peacefully at home with family by his side. Predeceased by his parents (Levi Sr. and Ethel), sister (Betty), two brothers (Jimmy and Mann) and granddaughter (Taiyah). He leaves to mourn his loving wife Isabella “Bunny” (Nee Jefferson). His three children Leslie, Yvette (Mike Jee), and Levi III (Sarah). Five grand children; Aaliyah, Malique, and Kevin Jee, Keon and Kaydra Cummings. One Great grandson Breeze Batson. Three sisters Jacquline (Robert Mink), Gail Steele and Mazie Gilyard. Five brother in-laws Richard Jefferson (Late Goretta), Melvin Jefferson, Charles Jefferson (Laurie), Timothy Brown (Late Cathy) and Thomas Brown. One sister in-law Melva Brown-Detailier. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a very honest and outspoken man who often found solace in the great outdoors. Cremation has already taken place as per family wishes. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life held at Forest Glade Community Centre (3215 Forest Glade Dr.) on Monday, September 23, from 2-5pm.
