Obituary of Sergio Bisetto

Passed away peacefully after a brief struggle with cancer on September 10, 2019 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband and buddy of Margaret (nee Sutherland) of 51 years. Loving, devoted and supporting father of Christine Bisetto (Matthew Clark) of Colorado and Joseph Bisetto of Toronto. Adored and loved Nonno of Olivia, Owen and Oona Clark. Loving son of the late Artemeo and Fulvia (Nee Ravazzolo) Bisetto. Beloved nephew of Giuliana (late Rino) Bisetto and their children. Dear brother of Giulio, Anna (Mario) Korva, and the late brother John and sister Maryann (surviving husband John) Shanahan. Brother-in-law to Mary (late Ray) Perron, Bill (Kay) Sutherland, Vincent (Marian) Sutherland, and Rose (Doug) Mullen. Sergio will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members in Canada, Italy and United States. Sergio "Joe" retired from the Tool and Mould industry after 45 years of dedicated service. Joe loved sports activities either as a participant or observer. He was an avid gardener, golfer and bowler, after retirement, he enjoyed long bicycle rides and watching baseball tournaments at Mic Mac Park. After many years of being a seasonal resident at Camper's Cove, he and Marg took annual fall colour tour camping trips in their Trek. Sergio also had a reputation as the "Master Splasher" in the afternoon Aquafit classes at the Adie Knox pool. He will be missed! The family would like to extend a thank you to WRH – Ouellette Campus, Dr. Lawrence Aoun and 7th floor staff as well as Hospice of Windsor for their care and compassion. Memorial visitation will be held at Corpus Christi Parish on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 10am until time of the Funeral Mass at 11am. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Avenue 519.253.7234.
