Obituary of Kathleen Christie

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 5, 2019 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her loving husband Harvey (1992). Cherished mother of Caralle (late Bob) Hicks, Don (Sandi), Diane (Doug) Murray, Jo-Anne (late Mark) Tracey, and Alison (Mike) Renaud. Proud Grandma of Rob (Brenda) Hicks, Jason (Jen) Hicks, Jen (Joe) Lichaa, Jackie (Rick) Bourdon, Nicole (Ben Brouwer), Mike (Crys Chiu), Rhonda (Devin) Lecot, Michaela (Jay) Krutsch, Jolaine Murray (Rob Renaud), Cyndi Tracey, Matt Tracey, Jeff Tracey, Darrell Renaud, and Kevin Renaud (Amanda Woods). Beloved great-grandma to 21 great- grand children. Kathleen is survived by her brother Frank (late Lil), her brother-in-law Bob (Hazel), and predeceased by her sister Vivian (Ken) Hutchinson. Kathleen will be sadly missed by a large, extended family. A special thank you to the staff at the Royal Marquis, Met Hospital (4th floor), LHIN, and Paramed for their care and compassion. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 2pm until time of Celebration of Life at 3pm. A private interment will take place at a later date. If so desired, donations to the Lung Association, or a tree planted in Kathleen’s memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
