Obituary of Lucy Ida Marie Schneider

Passed away peacefully on August 26, 2019 at the age of 87. Loving wife of Martin Schneider for 63 years. Cherished mother of Elizabeth (Don Spraggett), Kathy (Glenn) Taylor, Anna (Rick) Patterson, and Virginia McDonald. Proud Grandmother of Shannon (Kevin) Mitchell, Kristen (Pavle) Cote, Eric (Heather) Taylor, Drew Patterson (Stephanie), and Cameron McDonald. Caring Great Grandmother of Alex Taylor. Special Nana to Shannon and Robyn. Predeceased by her parents George and Lena Marie Dalpee and her 9 siblings. Special thank you to her PSWs Shoneen and Debbie as well as the staff at Berkshire for their care and compassion towards Lucy. Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Thursday August 29, 2019 at 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum) from 10am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Lucy to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor-Essex County would be greatly appreciated by the family.
