Obituary of Anna Mancini

Mancini, Anna Elizabeth (Nee Zarlenga) After a courageous battle with Brain Cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Mancini. Surrounded by loved ones on August 9, 2019 at the age of 58. Devoted wife to Joseph Carlo Mancini Jr for 25 wonderful years, dear mother of Amanda Zaffino and husband Daniel Plarina, and Bianca Mancini. Loving grandmother to William & Alexander Plarina, and beloved sister to Jerry & Louise Zarlenga. Cherished aunt to Samantha & Daniel Bilodeau, and Luke Zarlenga. Dearly loved sister in law to Christine Bull, Lana (Robert) Hasiak, Gildo Mancini, Mary (Mike) McKittrick, Anna (Jeff) Russell, Franca (Wayne) Pheby, and to the late Thomas Mancini and Carmen Mancini. Cherished aunt and Great aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Anna is survived by her adoring parents Bill & Columbia (Nee Marini) Zarlenga. The family wishes to send out a heart felt thank you to Dr. Aoun, Dr. Kennette and Tracy Beattie, and all the nurses at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Dr Y. Emara Centre Building on Prince road. A special thanks to the Chaplains Hilton & Emily for all the love, support, comfort and prayers for Anna and the family, to get them though this difficult time, it was truly a gift from God. Anna worked at CIBC for over 30 years. Arrangements have been entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Avenue 519.253.7234. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday August 17, 2019 from 1-6 p.m. As per Anna’s wishes, cremation has already taken place. Anna’s first grandson, William A. Plarina or a.k.a “Prince William” was her biggest joy in life. Before her passing, she asked that in lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated towards a memorial disability fund set up for her Grandson William, who has an intellectual disability and severe autism.
