Obituary of Priscilla Lemire

Born August 22, 1936, and died peacefully with her family by her bedside, at the age of 82 years, on August 13, 2019 after a long battle with COPD. Beloved wife to late Donald (2004). Loving mother of Dan (Carol), Terry (Dolores) and Barry (Sally). Cherished grandma of Kristen, Katie (David Micheletti), Kevin (Monique), Michelle, Vanessa, Stephanie (Mack Barr), Justin and Nicole (Andy McLeod). Proud great grandma to 9 grandchildren and one on the way. Predeceased by parents Viola (1978) and George Proulx (1984). Loving sister of Judy (Roland) Lucier, sister in-law of Louie Lemire (Vera), Gloria Denomey (Late Ron, 1986), Wayne Lemire (Gladys) and Barbara Lemire (Deb). Aunt to many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the caring staff of Devonshire Seniors Residence for their support and care as well as the medical staff at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus 4th floor. Priscilla was a retired custodian with the E.C.R.C.S.S.B and cashier from IGA Lesperance Rd. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Thursday August 15, 2019 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Thursday at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue on Friday August 16, 2019 at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd, Windsor) from 10 a.m. until the mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Parkinson’s Society.
