Obituary of Nikola Ivcec

IVCEC, Nikola "Nick" Passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 2, 2019 at Extendicare, Southwood Lakes, at the age of 95. Nikola leaves to mourn his sister, Barica Stepe and family of Croatia. He is predeceased by sister, Veronika Pavkovic, and brothers, Petar and Marko Ivcec. Nikola is survived by nieces and nephews, Josip Pavkovic (Vera), Petar Ivcec (Slavica), Barica Skorin (Jere); and all their families of Windsor, Zeljko Ivcec (Dobravka), Danica Paric, Verica Nikolic-Pavkovic (Ivica), Nikola Ivcec (Vesna) and Verica Stepe; and all their families of Croatia. Nikola was a Veteran of WWII where he served in the Croatian Army. He was a retired employee of Chrysler Canada and a member of CAW Local 444 Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (CENTRAL CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234 on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 9am until 10am then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Burial to take place in the family plot in Draga Svetojanska, Croatia. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Windsor-Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation or to Kapelica Sveto Trojstvo in Draga Svetojanska, Croatia.
