Obituary of John Patrick Beale

BEALE, John Patrick With heavy hearts we announce the passing of son, brother, husband, father and grandfather John Patrick (JP) Beale at age 72 on July 29, 2019. Born on December 8, 1946 he is predeceased by his parents Helen Beale Nantais (nee Landry), and (lucky enough to have 2 fathers) Thomas Patrick Beale and Russell Nantais. Adored brother to Marny Beale, Cathy (the late Ron Eid) and Pat Cook, Mike Beale & Bev Beattie, Eleanor Beale, Beth & Bruce Lane, Theresa Beale and Mike Murphy, Willy Beale and Julie. Dear brother in law to Judy Szecsei-Beale, Gloria Lesonsky, the late Don & Ellen Parent, the late Wally & Bernice Parent, the late Larry & Susie Parent. Cherished husband to Nancy (Parent) Beale for the last 50 years. Beloved father to Patsy Beale and Chris MacLachlan, Ted and Kandice Beale, Tom Beale and Ali Houston. Will be sorely missed as the best Pippus in the world by Michael, Riley, Sloane, Ian, Cameron, Owen, Cielo, and Braden. Too many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews to count much less name, but never too many for his heart to hold. Retired from Chrysler since 1998 after 30 years of service and union activity, JP was an avid sports enthusiast, spectator, player and coach throughout his lifetime. The Habs & Tigers have lost a die-hard. Of all sports, hockey was his passion as a player, fan and coach. A coveted goalie in his day who could “sit” on the puck like no other. JP held memberships with various organizations including the Knights of Columbus, the Canadian Legion and the Riverside Sportsmen among others. In addition to his expertise in crosswords, fishing for minnows, and corny jokes. JP was the life of the party, the main attraction on the dance floor, as well as entertaining in or out of his clown costume. In the words of Nat King Cole “Unforgettable”. At JP’s request, cremation has taken place, a memorial visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 7:30p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the War Amps or Riverside Miracle Park.
