Obituary of Beverley Anne Newman

NEWMAN, Beverley Anne (nee O’Brien) Passed away on July 23, 2019 at the age of 83. Former spouse to the late Arthur "Art" Gendreau ( 2017) and late James “Jim” Harwood (1997). Loving and devoted mother to Debra Cooper, Jim “Pete” Harwood (Catherine Russell), Micheal Harwood (Krista) and predeceased by daughter Brenda (1997). Cherished “Nan” to Colin, Jamie, Shelby, Rob (Ada) Chan-Russell, Kim, Bradd, Melissa, Melanie, Max and Rylie and great-grandmother to Brendan, Finn, Wade, Warren, Julian, Sebastian, Harle, Hunter, Leora and Kayley. Beverley was a retired medical secretary of Dr. Zarzour and Dr. McGrath. She was a lady with a very generous heart who was always there to help others. Beverley was well known for volunteering her time at Huron Lodge Home for Seniors in making a difference in the lives of the residents. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave., 519-253-7234 on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Sunday at 7:30pm. Friends will be received on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd.) for visitation from 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Bev’s life, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee or Ronald McDonald House, Windsor.
