Obituary of Nadia Mastromattei (nee Frighetto)

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side. Nadia fought a hard and courageous battle. Beloved wife of Bernard (Bernie) for 48 years. Devoted and loving mother to Cristina (Nick) Xirogiannis and John (Abby) Mastromattei. Nothing brought her more pride and happiness than her grandchildren Kristian, Stefan, Cora, Stella, and Enrico. Loving sister of Graziano Frighetto and loving aunt of Alessia. Cherished sister-in-law of Ugo and Fran Mastromattei, as well as Terry Mastromattei. Nadia was a one-of-a-kind lady, who radiated warmth and kindness. Her smile could light up a room and she always made everyone feel special and loved. She took great pleasure in sharing her hospitality and impeccable style with all her friends at Tiramisu. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 2-5pm & 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 4:30pm. Family and friends are requested to meet on Friday, July 26, 2019 at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) for Funeral Mass at 9:30am. Cremation to follow.
