Obituary of Despina Kourtsidis

KOURTSIDIS, Despina (nee: Evreniadis) Passed away peacefully on July 6, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Hospice of Windsor, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Christos with whom she celebrated 60 years of marriage. Loving, devoted and selfless mother to Sofia (1959), Nick Kourtsidis (Denise) of Lindsay, ON. Stavros Kourtsidis (Kimberlee) of Gatineau, Quebec, Mary Ferrari (Brian) of Sundridge, ON. Cherished Yiayia of Kate, Sophie, Martina, Michayla, Christos, Amelia, Joshua, Gabriella and great-grandmother to Brian Jr. Dear sister to Jim Evreniadis (Theodoula) of Greece, Stephanie Larson, Mary Karapanos (Ted), Stavros Evreniadis (Suzie), Olympia Veziridis (Lefterios), Joseph Evreniadis (Virginia), all of U.S.A. Also survived by many brother and sister in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. (519)253.7234. A private visitation and Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Windsor. Interment followed at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
