Obituary of Charles Robert (Bob) Ebbinghaus

Ebbinghaus, Charles Robert (Bob) January 5, 1961 – July 7, 2019 It is with saddened heavy hearts that we lay to rest Charles Robert Ebbinghaus. Loving husband of 28 years to Tina Marie and loving father to Taylor Anne Walker (Andrew), Alexis Rae Ebbinghaus (Kayla) and Charlotte Mackenzie Ebbinghaus (Cole). Bob also leaves behind brothers Gregory Ebbinghaus (Deborah), Timothy Ebbinghaus (Simone) and sisters Robin Ellis (Jeff) and Charlotte Beth DeShon (Tim). Bob was predeceased by his mother Evelyn (1996) and father Charles Robert (2019). Bob also leaves behind mother- in -law and father- in -law Mary Jane and Sebastian Lombardo and brother- in - law Enzo Lombardo (Shannon). Bob was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bob was a very active member with Scouts Canada 7th St. Thomas and 89th Windsor. Bob was an active Group Commissioner of the 7th St. Thomas Scouting Group and was active in baseball, football and many other sporting activities. Bob’s favourite past time was gardening and fishing with his brother-in-law Enzo at their cottage. Bob was a member of Local 773 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and was currently employed by the Electrical Safety Authority and will be sadly missed by all. Bob was an active Trillium Donation member and helped save the lives or improve the lives of numerous people upon his passing. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. followed by cremation. Interment to be held at a later date.
