Obituary of Tinca Savin

SAVIN, Tinca Jan. 1 / 1932 – July 6 / 2019 Tinca Savin passed away peacefully at 87 years of age. She was born in Romania, and lived the last part of her life in Canada, along with her son and his family. Tinca was predeceased by her son Constantin (2016). Tinca is survived by her son Teodor & wife Fanica. Tinca was “mamaia” to Edward and Mary Anne; Cristina and Elisabeth of Windsor, and Mihaela and Laura of Romania. Tinca came into this world as an unwanted baby. She was abandoned to die, but thank God was rescued by her aunt and survived. She was an amazing, hard working woman who provided for her sons, helped raise her grandchildren and some other children from the neighborhood. Tinca left this world on July 6, 2019 full of days, and desiring to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Tinca was a member of the Romanian Christian Community of Windsor, and enjoyed the latest part of her life attending Romanian and English services at Parkwood Gospel Church. The family would like to thank Vio Muresan for her amazing love and care of Tinca. Your friendship Vio is unmatched. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7234 on Monday July 8, 2019 from 6-8 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday July 9, 2019 at Parkwood Gospel Church (3005 Temple Dr) from 10 am until time of funeral service beginning at 11am. Interment at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
