Obituary of Robert John Dillon

DILLON, Robert John “Bob” June 15, 1947 – May 14, 2019 Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family at the age of 71. Loving Husband of Vicki (nee McIlmoyle) for over 41 years. Caring father of Danielle (Dave) Thibert. Fun-loving grandpa to Alex, Avary, Addison & Arik. Cherished brother of the late Howard (Theresa), Charlene (George) Abray, Daniel (Elaine), Margaret Anne (late James) Milliman, Bill (Connie), the late Carl, Mary Catherine Collins, Rosemary (Doug) Millar, Diane (Bill) Colvin. Bob will also be missed by many nieces, nephews & close friends. Bob was a dedicated member of many organizations including: Rotary Club of Tilbury, Knights of Columbus (Tilbury), Chamber of Commerce (Tilbury), Windsor Yacht Club & the Chatham-Kent Insurance Brokers Association. Bob enjoyed boating, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family & friends. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 2-5pm & 6-9pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Good Shepherd Parish (462 Advance Blvd.) from 1:00pm until time of Funeral Mass at 2:00pm. Cremation to follow. If so desired, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Parish, Rotary Club of Tilbury, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
