Obituary of Calogero Salvatore Puccio

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Calogero, surrounded by his loving family on May 9, 2019 at 79 years of age, and has now entered the gates of heaven. Dear husband of Maria Puccio for almost 59 years. Loving father to Joe (Sonia), Melina (John), Angelo (Tracy), Maria Santina (Pete), Frank (Brandy), Tony (Predeceased), Nella (Dan). Calogero will be sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe & Maria (nee Gato). Survived by his sister Melina (Montreal), his brother Frank (Italy), many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Calogero was retired from JD&M in Troy, MI as a cabinet maker after 30 years of dedicated service. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave, 519-253-7234 on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 4:30pm. Funeral services beginning at 8:15am on Friday, May 17, 2019 from the funeral home with procession to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave) for the Funeral Mass at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Catholic Cemetery.
