Obituary of Elena Aftim

Aftim, Elena (nee Rat) Passed away March 7, 2019 at the age of 67. Loving mother of John Aftim (Oana) and Julian Aftim. Daughter of the late Vasile and Paraschiva Rat. Cherished grandmother of Alice, Jason, Eddie and Nathan. Sister of Vasile Rat and Maria Lisita. She will be missed by all of her relatives and friends here and in Romania. Our mother was very kind and compassionate. She stayed home and raised her sons with love and care. She had a special place in her heart for all animals and cared for any that were near. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1:30 in the Chapel.
