Obituary of Theresa Alice Carpenter

Carpenter, Theresa “Terri” (nee Simard) Passed away peacefully on March 6, 2019 at the age of 91. Reunited with her loving husband Bud Carpenter (2013). Loving and devoted mother to Wayne and wife Mary of Tecumseh; Lori Patterson and the late Steven (2009) of Mississauga. Cherished grandma to Michael Carpenter (Jessica Chiesa) and Sean Carpenter (Carmen) and Jeffrey and Kelly Patterson. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret Reaume, Emma Reaume, Jean Reaume, Mabel Lanoue, Eva Cox, Stella Phaneuf, Cecile Robert, Irene Letourneau and Rose Marie Simard and her brothers Bill, Joe, Archie, Buster, Bert and Romeo. Special friend to Mary Jurocko. Dear sister in law of Harvey Reaume, Elwood Carpenter (2014) and his late wife June (2018). Theresa will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Terri was a long time member of the former St. Clare Church. During the summer months she loved being at the cottage with dad, playing cards and enjoying happy hour with friends and family. Special thanks to Dr. Henry Fortuna as well as her PSW’s Victoria and Patty for their support and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Transition to Betterness (T2B) or the Canadian Lung Association. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will take place in the chapel on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
