Obituary of Emilia Ambrosio

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Emilia Ambrosio (nee Barbieri) on March 5, 2019 at home with her loving family by her side at the age of 64. Loving wife of Salvatore of 46 years. Devoted mother to Domenico (Rosalia), Vincenzo and Manuela (Mike). Proud Nonna to Luca and Matteo. Reunited with her beloved parents Vincenzo and Naide Barbieri and cherished sister Mariapia (Mario Iaquinta). Will be remembered by brother in law Joe Ambrosio (Mena), Giovanni Ambrosio (Maria), Franco Ambrosio (Elisa). Respected niece to Carmela DiMarco (Costanzo) Loving cousin to Maria DiNatale (Renato), Sergio Iacobacci (Rosa) and Luigino Iacobacci (Maria Evelina), Filomena Romeo (Mike), Pasquale DiMarco (Yolanda) and Maria DiMarco. Guiding aunt to Alessandra Papia (Joey), Vanessa Allen (Ryan), Gianmarco Iaquinta, Domenic Ambrosio (Lisa), Rosa Diab (Pete), Margherita Acosta (Carlos), Walter DiNatale, Claudia DiNatale, Paul Iacobacci (Beth), Matthew Iacobacci (Anna), Silvana Previti (Salvatore), Renata Iacobacci and Franconello Iacobacci. She will be dearly missed by many more family and friends. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave, 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 3:30pm. Funeral services beginning at the funeral home on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 10am with procession to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave) for the Funeral Mass at 11am. Committal prayers to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made in Emilia’s memory directly to her family in care of Manuela & Domenico.
