Obituary of Donald Sidney Payne

Payne, Donald Sidney It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Sidney Payne on February 14th, 2019 surrounded by the love of his family. Don was the best friend and husband of over 56 years to Arlene (2017) and had two loving daughters Dana (Kevin) and Julie (David). Don was the very proud Grandfather to Maranda and Jeremy and special “Grandpa” to Amanda and Julia. Don will be dearly missed by his brother Steve (Nancy) as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was a loving brother to the late Betty Bancroft (Clayton) and a dear cousin to many. Don worked at Windsor Western Hospital (I.O.D.E.) and was a proud member of the Windsor Sportsmen’s Club and St. Augustine Church. Don`s life will be celebrated on Monday, February 18, 2019 at St. Augustine Church, 5145 Wyandotte Street E. with Memorial Visitation from 9:30 am until service at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, simply take out a friend for a coffee, one of Don`s favourite activities.
