Obituary of James Franklin Renaud

Passed away peacefully on February 13, 2019 with his family by his side at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Lauzon) for 69 years. Loving father of Kathie, Jim (Deborah), David (Anne-Marie), Carol (Dan)Lewis, Patrick (Karla), Mike (Debbie). Cherished pépé of Jeff (Katherine), Jacqueline (Paul), Julie (Chris), Joseph, Kyle (Jessica), Sarah, Brandyn, Mitchell, Shayn and great grand pépé of Mathieu, Spencer, Emily, Owen, Noah, Frederick, George, Jackson and Patrick. Dear brother of Patrick (Joy), Nip ( late Gabriel) Charron and the late Sister Mary Phyllis. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the doctors and staff at Metropolitan Hospital for your care and compassion. Jim was retired from Chrysler Canada and was a dedicated volunteer of the Windsor Goodfellows. He served as an usher and altar server with St. John Vianney for many years as well as the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd, E, 519-253-7234 on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9 with parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe Street) on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Private family interment at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
