Obituary of Raymond Godin

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Raymond on December 18, 2018 at the age of 83. Cherished husband to Raymonde (nee Duguay) with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of married. Loving Papa to Marc Godin (Karen Turmel) and Linda Godin (Tim Hess). Cherished and proud P"p" to Julie (Justin), Mathieu, Raymond, Justin (Renee), Jill (Godfrey), and Jeremy (Rachael). Treasured Grand-P"p" to Genevieve, Greyson, Sarah, Cynthia, Jacob, Godfrey, Jax, and baby Hess-on-the-way. Reunited with his parents, Delor and Clementine Godin. Loving brother to Simeon (Helene), Fernand (Alfredine), Ethelbert (Marie), Donald (Georgette), Irene (the late Edouard), Claudine (Gilbert), Rita (the late Fredy), Hermeline (Gaston), Sylvine (Wilfrem), and the late Hermionne (the late Andre). Raymond will be missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews. After growing up in New Brunswick, Raymond made his way to Windsor to find work and provide for his family. He retired from the Windsor Essex Catholic School Board after dedicating over 30 years of his career. We will remember him for his sense of humour, and his silliness, even through his illness. Our family has lost a wonderful man. In keeping with Raymond"s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677, Tecumseh Road, East 519-253-7234.
