Obituary of Germaine Matte

MATTE, GERMAINE (nee Desfausses)October 18, 1927-December 4, 2018, Passed away peacefully at the age of 91 with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Joseph (2001). Loving mother of Marguerite Molloy (Wayne), the late Joseph Matte (Sue) of Taylor Michigan, and Louis Matte (Malerie). Dear grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Germaine was a Moose and Eagle Member for many years. She will be missed by friends in Windsor and Florida. The family would like to thank the staff at Bruce Villa and Metropolitan Hospital for the wonderful care they gave. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-254-7234 on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will take place in the chapel at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
