Obituary of Ram Budwal

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ram Budwal at the young age of 69 on Friday November 27, 2020. Ram was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son in-law, brother and friend. The cherished husband to Bimla. Adored father of Jaspal and Mirela, Harbans, Aman and Reena. Amazing grandpa to Austin, Anjali, Lorand and Nikita. Most loved son in law to Piara and Kaushalya. Remembered by his siblings. Dearly missed by his beloved fur companions Sasha and Macy. He was proud a uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ram and Bimla immigrated to Canada in 1976 where he then dedicated 29 years to his career at the Windsor GM Transmission Plant building a great life for his family. Ram was a handyman that tinkered around the house always fixing or rigging things. He never hesitated to help anyone that needed it. All that knew him knew he had the biggest heart and the corniest dad jokes. He would light up any room he was in. The biggest heartfelt thank you goes out to the Nurses, Doctors, and Respiratory Therapists. Specifically the team at Met ER, ICU and 4North for going above and beyond our expectations while caring for him. Our eternal gratitude is being sent to the ICU nurse who held his hand for us when we could not be there in person. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Homes Ltd. Private prayer service with immediate family will take place on Monday, November 30, 2020.
