Obituary of Arthur Schiemann

SCHIEMANN, Rev. Arthur Wesley Passed away peacefully on October 22, 2018 with his loving family by his side at 76 years of age. Loving husband to Carol (nee Becher) for over 52 years. Proud father of Jennifer (Eric Drake), Tamela Schiemann (Paul Rocheleau), Andrew Schiemann, Rachel (Kris Kieltyka) and Rev. Matthew (Mary Rose). Special grandpa of Nathan and Kendall Domney and Kieran Rocheleau. Also survived by his brother Norman. Art will also be sadly missed by his grand dogs Ava, Emo, Ollie, Tonks and Edward. Art was ordained into the Lutheran Church in 1968. He served at Peace Lutheran Church Windsor from 1973 until his retirement in 2006. Afterward, Art served Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Chatham for 9 years. Art also served as Chaplain for the Windsor Regiment for many years. Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Thursday October 25, 2018 from 3-5 pm and 7-9pm. Visiting to continue on Friday October 26, 2018 at Peace Lutheran Church (1985 Rossini Blvd.) from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am. Pastor James Leistico officiating.
