Obituary of Annette Marie Durocher

DUROCHER, Annette (nee Lefave) January 18, 1938 - September 26, 2018 It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother Annette on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the age of 80. Beloved mother to Carolyn and son in law Gerry Thibeault, Anne Marie (Annie) and son in law Les Johnston, Dwayne and good friend Debbie Chambers, Mark and daughter in law Sara Giramonte. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Kyle , Calvin (C.J.), Jarret, Katelyn and Ryan, Breanne, Reid and her great grandchildren Mitchel, Quinlyn, Attalin, Ryder and Raegan. Predeceased by husband George Durocher and her parents Anjolena (Lena) and Joseph Lefave. Survived by her cherished sister Lucille (Lucy) Gefucia and sister in law Helen Lefave. Predeceased by her brother Emile and wife Dorothy, brother Maurice (Moe) and brother in law Connie Gefucia. She will be fondly remembered by her nephews and nieces and many friends and past co workers from Windsor Western Hospital. Annette loved animals having many pets in her past. She enjoyed many forms of entertainment, especially music and dancing. She enjoyed cooking as well as eating and of course smoking. Annette's favourite thing of all was spending time with the people she loved whether it be family or friends. She enjoyed a good laugh! She will be forever missed, but always live in our hearts. A special thanks to the staff at Huron Lodge, especially the 2nd floor Maple Unit and all the professional help with our mom from all hospitals, Windsor Regional Met and Ouellette Campus as well as Hotel Dieu Rehab. As per Annette's wishes, there is no visitation or funeral. Her wish is for cremation. there will be a memorial mass to follow in December
